HAJIMEMASHITE

Hajimemashite’ means ‘It’s nice to meet you’ in Japanese. It has the idea of a new beginning.

Welcome! Yokoso! I’m so happy to present my blog to you!

Let’s begin our exploration of amazing places and events, Japanese calligraphy, expat life and many other topics related to Japan.

My journey begins in the diverse borough of Queens, New York, then jumps to the small countryside beach town, Kehi, in Hyogo prefecture, Japan and finally to the cosmopolitan city with international flair, Kobe. After several years of living and working in Japan, I have come to learn a lot about the land of the rising sun and it’s rich culture.

What aspects of Japan are you most interested in? If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I’m so excited to share the beauty of Japan with YOU!

Let the EPIC adventure begin! Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu.
